How do I clean my SturdiBag?
Cleaning instructions for SturdiBag Pet Carriers:
Hand wash with non-bleach detergent or dish soap. For the classic SturdiBag, there is no need to remove rods that create arches but do remove the pad (machine wash pad separately), baseboard, shoulder strap, zipper clips and the two horizontal roof rods. To remove loose hair and debris before washing use a vacuum with a soft brush. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop or sticky tape. Use warm soapy water and wipe inside and out with a soft cloth. Rinse. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight.
Can I wash my SturdiBag in the washing machine?
Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold or warm water, not hot: To remove loose hair and debris before washing use a vacuum with a soft brush. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop Before washing, remove all parts including zipper clips, shoulder strap, pad, baseboard, the 3 rods that create arches and the two horizontal rods roof rods. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop. Turn inside out before placing in washing machine. Hang to dry.
* When dry, first re-insert the 3 rods that create the arches before replacing the other foam core base.
How do I clean my Pop-Up Kennel?
Cleaning instructions for Pop-Up Kennels:
Hand wash with non-bleach detergent or dish soap. To clean outside, open side doors and shake out the scatter, dirt, hair and debris. You can also use a vacuum with a soft brush. Spray inside and out with a garden hose. Use warm soapy water and wipe inside and out with a soft cloth. Rinse with hose. Close all doors and keep it popped open to dry out of direct sunlight. To clean inside, use the bathroom shower and follow the instructions above.
*To help eliminate strong odors from the inside of the kennel, pop down into a bathtub of warm orange oil based soap or non-bleach detergent and let soak for several hours. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Remove from bath, pop-up and dry out of direct sunlight. Treat with a pet odor eliminating spray.

All Sturdi Products® purchased directly from manufacturer are warranted against manufacturer defect for 24 months from purchase date. Our warranty applies when the product is used for the purpose intended, under normal conditions, and does not apply to damages caused by your pet(s), typical wear and tear over time, unreasonable use, accidents or neglect. We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all unused, in new condition Sturdi Products. If there is pet hair, odor or dander, we cannot offer a refund. We do not offer refunds on shipping costs, only the returned products.

Are SturdiBags airline compliant?
All airlines have different size specifications for in-cabin pet carriers, so please check with your airline each time you fly.
The newest SturdiBag size medium as well as the large Cube will comply with all airline specifications.
The small and large size SturdiBags, included large divided sizes, comply with most airline specifications.
It is recommended that you check with your airline before purchasing pet carriers for in-cabin airline travel.
Extra Large and Extra Large Divided This model is 20L x 12 W x 16 flex height and due to the flex height technology will fly on some but not all airlines due to the length of 20 inches.
Incognito - This model is not recommended for air travel, but great for taking your pet out on the town without much notice...hence the name, Incognito! .
Which Sturdi Pop-Up Kennel will fit on the back seat of my car?
The small single and double pop-up also known as the Cargo were designed to fit in the back seat of most cars, without hindering your line of sight. The small pop-up kennels can also be used in the back of your SUV by securing with ties and tie-down down loops that are sewn into the bottom of each kennel for safety. The medium pop-up will also fit into most compact cars on the back seat but is a taller and wider, so it will overhang by 4 inches. All Pop-Up Kennels come with seat belt loops except Euro back models.
Are the fleece pads machine washable?
Cleaning instructions for Pads and Hammocks:
Machine wash with non-bleach detergent. Before washing, remove the hammock rods from guides by flexing slightly. Place hammocks inside a pillowcase or fabric laundry bag to protect the swivel hooks. Air or machine dry on low heat.

Whats the best way to clean the Vinyl Doors and Vinyl Liners?
We recommend the use of a a vinyl cleaner/protectant called 303 Aerospace Protectant as the preferred safe Vinyl Cleaner. Avoid the use of window cleaners as the ammonia removes the coating that keeps the viny soft.
